I love nature. I see God's creative hand in all that is natural. This is the way I feel about mud and building from it. Fascination with living a simple quiet life, surrounded by the natural, started when I was a little girl. Our first home in Kakamega, had been a mud house, which had been improved upon by my late Father, as time went on.He was also a great lover of nature.  Living in a mud house when we were growing up, was a totally different world. I always felt I was able to connect with nature, especially the soil!  As I have growen older, my fascination for all that is natural, from the soil, has become a lifestyle.

 

I graduated from building small mud projects, to building full fledged houses. My first house to build was in 2006, and it was such a joyful fulfilling experience. I believe in working with what God has provied us through nature. I beleive in a simple lifestyle, with as little stress as possible! Its from this pemise that I have continued to build homes that

 speak of peace, healing, authencity and connection to nature. One thing is for sure....its is much much cheaper than having to take a huge mortgage to build, and take the next ten years to repay the mortgage....why when I can buld a mud house??? 

 

We are now offering consutlancy services that cover the traditional building process with earth,  from designing to

building plans to practical guidance and support, including sourcing the materials and providing you with the manpower, landscaping and self sustainability.
